Admission Procedure

1.Admission into +2 I Year Classes :+2 common prospectous

The admission of students into +2 1st Year Arts and Science stream is conducted by e-admission procedure adopted by D.H.E., Orissa. This year the College has been declared as SAMS Resource Centre tagging four outside colleges, i.e. Ramji Mahavidyalaya, Bhismagiri; Biju Patnaik Women’s College, Digapahandi; Science College, Pudamari; Chidananda Saraswati Mahavidyala, Bomakei. The on-line CAFs are received upto 12.06.2014 and the CAFs are tagged and validated upto 15.06.2014. The selected lists of students are published as per the D.H.E. order. The total admission procedure was closed on 30.07.2014 and classes commenced from 01.08.2014 as per the order of H.E., Odisha, Bhubaneswar.

2.Admission into +2 II Year Classes :

The admission of students into +2 II year classes is to be completed as per the rules and regulation of SAMS (Student Academic Management System).

3.+3 Admission Process (SAMS) :+3 common prospectous

Students are admitted on-line into +3 classes of Arts and Science (PCM) streams through SAMS which stands for Student Academic Management System from the session 2014-15. This admission process which is carried out through internet and computers is called as e-admission. Apart from e-admission SAMS also maintains the academic and financial records of each student admitted into college.

There are two components of SAMS, i.e. e-admission and e-administration. In e-admission an eligible applicant has to apply on-line for a maximum of ten options (college/ stream Honours) through wwwdheorissa.in. Admission is conducted according to date line of admission activities published by SAMS after declaration of C.H.S.E.(O) results which is notified in the newspapers for SAMS Degree College.

4.The college authorities are advised not to admit students in subject(s) which has/have not been permitted by the Govt./D.H.E. All admissions must strictly be in accordance with the sanctioned strength given by the Govt./DHE in such optional subjects. Any deviation in this respect shall be viewed seriously by the Council. The institutions will shoulder the sole responsibilities for their lapses.

5.School leaving certificate of the students admitted into +2 classes will be cancelled by the Principals of concerned institution on the very day of admission after proper verification and photo Long Roll-cum-Admission Registers must contain the college admission Money Receipt Number and date as well as SLC/CLC No. and date in separate columns.

6.Inter-College transfer of +2 I year and +2 II year classes for combination of attendance under Regulations 160 and 161 will be given by the Council.
